Are You Really Like a Flower

Blog Post

Some will say you are like a flower. Others will say we are nothing like a flower. I say, we are one with nature and therefore like a flower. Even more so, throughout history, some flowers have been instated as birth month flowers, meaning their status is elevated to being special, as you are.
Of course, every flower is special, however birth month flowers have been picked as having certain symbolism which reflects on the person born in that particular month.

The following flowers are the Primary Birth Month flowers and their symbolism:

January: Carnation; Love, Luck, Appreciation, Affection
February: Violet; Faithful Love, Truth, Loyalty, Humility
March: Daffodils;
April: Daisy; Purity, Love, New beginnings, Fertility, Motherhood
May: Lily of the Valley;
June: Roses
July: Larkspur;
August: Gladiolus;
September: Aster;
October: Marigolds;
November: Chrysanthemum
December: Narcissus; Innocence, Purity

If you are in the Southern Hemisphere, the blooming of these flowers most likely do not correspond with your birth month, but they are still special to you.
